Wii U to be released in the last half of 2012

Nintendo have announced that the Wii U will release in the last half of 2012. That means anytime from July till December. I predict a October release.

3DS System update available

The 3DS System Update is available now. It contains the long awaited 3D video recording.

Xenoblade Chronicles is coming to North America

Nintendo of America have released an announcement trailer for the Japanese RPG: Xenoblade Chronicles. America had to wait awhile but they have succeeded in getting it. Operation rainfall worked. The game will come out spring 2012. To see the trailer check after the break.

Wii and Wii U to co exist

Next year the Wii U comes out, but this doesn't mean the the end of the wii's life. Nintendo of America president's Reggie Fils-Aime claims that the two consoles can co exist. There's no price on the Wii U and no release date.

UPDATE: 3DS system update delayed

The 3ds system update that contains 3D video recording was meant to come late November but now it has been delayed in America, Europe and Japan to the latest of 8th of December.

Skyward Sword and Super Mario 3D land OUT NOW

The legend of Zelda Skyward Sword  and Super Mario 3D Land is out now in Europe.

PETA says "It was a joke"

PETA have now said that they were joking. This is PETA's statement "Mario fans: Relax! PETA’s game was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, a fun way to call attention to a serious issue, that raccoon dogs are skinned alive for their fur. We wish real-life tanukis could fly or swat enemies away with their tails and escape from those who profit from their skins. You can help them by never buying real fur."

Nintendo Responds to PETA

Yesterday I posted that PETA hates Mario. Nintendo replied with "Mario often takes the appearance of certain animals and objects in his games. These have included a frog, a penguin, a balloon and even a metallic version of himself. These lighthearted and whimsical transformations give Mario different abilities and make his games fun to play. The different forms that Mario takes make no statement beyond the games themselves."

PETA Hates Mario

PETA have said "When on a mission to rescue the princess, Mario has been known to use any means necessary to defeat his enemy — even wearing the skin of a raccoon dog to give him special powers. Tanooki may be just a “suit” in Mario games, but in real life, tanuki are raccoon dogs who are skinned alive for their fur. By wearing Tanooki, Mario is sending the message that it’s OK to wear fur." They have made a website and a mario flash game to go with their hatred of Tanooki Mario. Check after the break for the link to the website.

Limited Edition Zelda 3DS Bundle coming to North America

Previously I posted an article saying that the bundle would only come to Europe, but Nintendo have now confirmed that the Zelda 3DS Bundle is coming to North America.

Monster Hunter 3G to release out of Japan?

Capcom have said that they are considering launching Monster Hunter 3G to other regions, but haven't come to a decision. I think that Capcom would release this out of Japan.

Limited Edition 3DS for The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary

Nintendo have announced a 3DS Bundle that includes a limited edition zelda 3DS and Ocarina of Time 3D.So far it's only going to released in Europe, but things could change and they haven't said a release date. I think that it would be released sometime this holiday season, perhaps December
